Yugi, is this your staff pet?


Here is why I think it is:
1) As for relating to your first hint about fortune, 3 is a lucky number. You know what this staff pet has? 3 eyes.

2) You said winter would be their favorite season "as it's the best time to see the stars". You also said that they would prefer to be in the sky, "so she could be closer to the stars and constellations". With your hints I'm led to believe that your staff pet is sky/space themed. This staff pet has many stars on it, as well as the phases of the moon surrounding them.

3) You also said that your pet wouldn't be great at swimming and they don't want to get their fur dirty. This staff pet is covered in fur(?) and with fur like that, I can see why they wouldn't want anything to happen to it. (Also thick fur would keep them warm in winter) (And their fur looks kind of like clouds, and clouds can't really swim)

4) You said that your staff pet would be friends with an ox or a dragon, leading me to believe your staff pet has horns. Which leads me into my next justification...

5) That your pet definitely has horns. Taurus, Aries, and Pisces. All hints. All constellations. Aries and Taurus have horns, as they are the ram and the ox, respectively. I am lead to believe that the Pisces constellation is on your staff pet, but I haven't found it yet in the stars on this staff pet. (Or just that your staff pet is a mix of all those attributes). Regardless, this grown staff pet has horns that look like a rams.

6) You said that your staff pet would be a Fairy/Dark type Pokémon. This hint literally stared right at us. The growing stage of this pup had a dark base with little dots of light and almost wispy looking "stripes", giving it a dark but whimsical appearance. The grown stage, this staff pet, gives off whimsical, elegant (fairy), and night, mysterious (dark) vibes.

Hello little kelpie, now I know why you were giving me those Capricorn vibes.

So I've been wanting to solve Celozon's hints for the past few days but I kept getting sidetracked by Yugi's clues. And had been going round in circles because the pups didn't quite work with the clues we had.

• Hint #1: Transparent text: Good luck to all you hint hunters and guessers out there!
We could all use a little bit of fortune this year c
• Hint #2: Answered Questions: - What are your pups' favorite season? Winter, as it's the best time to see the stars
- Does your pup prefer rain or sun? She would likely prefer the rain,
at least as long as it doesn't continue late into the night
- what pokemon type? Mmmm, probably a dual-typing like Fairy/Dark!
- What’s your pup’s favourite flower? Honeysuckle
- go into any ""biome"" on earth where would it be? She would likely prefer to be in
the sky so she could be closer to the stars and constellation
- If your pup could be friends with another animal, what would they pick?
It'd be a difficult choice, but she'd likely choose to befriend an ox.
Though, if mythical creatures count, she would choose a dragon B)c
- How would your pet like going swimming? I don't think she'd be all that great at it
unfortunately. Either way, she wouldn't want to accidentally get her fur dirtied!

Tried to go hunting for the so called 'missing clues' Yugi mentioned
In Yugi's beloved group To me the dessup suggests this pup has honeysuckle on it, (so I guess we could infer that the skull pup is a possibility (doesn't feel right) or a ghostly themed pup or that the pup had been either still asleep or not fully grown yet.)

I also kept looking at several pups and finally narrowed it down to these ones
and and
this one because both had closed eyes, which matches last years pup at this stage and Yugi's previous staff dogs have, well I sort of describe it as aquiline features, a sort of elongation to the nose which lends a certain sense of elegance to the dogs. The cupid pup seems to match this very well. And several clues vaguely seem to hint at the former as well, as despite some wanting to tie a capricorn analogy to the scarf pup it didn't feel right.

For the Chinese Zodiac, the Western equivalent of the Ox is given as Capricorn, Aries is often listed as being the Dragon, Taurus is the Snake, The Rabbit is Pisces and Rooster is Virgo - I wonder then if the dressup is the representative of the pup and it's friends. (Have also seen the Ox listed as Taurus in some interpretations and of the three zodiacs in Yugi's group only Taurus / the smiley pup is unclaimed as yet, but that pup wasn't 'sleeping') and the fact that only these three are named could suggest these are the 'friends' rather than the pup itself.

Schuyler's pup also looks a bit Tiger-y because of the stripes. And whenever I think of Ox and Tiger together I think of Inu Yasha and the direction they had to travel in as part of the storyline. (North-Easterly? Ox, Dragon, Tiger and Tortoise are among the chief compass point) but it is apparantly an unlucky direction to travel so you would need a little fortune to travel that way. Stetching it a bit? but hint#4 might allude to this as well (big cats -- tigers, not lynx as some were hoping and)
(long shot guess if pup is based on a turtle, the pup is being slow to grow up, but doesn't really fit either as the pup has been mentioned to have 'fur' so that also ruled out the snake and the rooster offhand because of scales and feathers respectively.)

If the Cupid pup is Yugi's though, the fact the the pup has a tail hints at a Capricorn type dog, or an Eastern dragon type one, but doesn't really fit the not liking swimming aspect (and of course the kelp pup looked watery so didn't seem right either.)

Looked at time aspects, as most of the named/grouped zodiacs are associated with nighttime hours this seems to tie in with the pup liking to see the stars. (And learned additionally Capricorn falls within two very cold periods in China, further suggesting a 'winter' loving connection)

And of course with todays' growth the dog has horns indicative of traditional Capricorn or Aries starsigns (and with the honeysuckle flower clue suggests the latter.) Extremely floofy fur (which she probably doesn't like to get wet) is dark coloured and has 3 eyes (lends itself to being characteristics of a fae creature thus the possibly dark/fairy typing) favours the night because of the moon and stars aspects and the cloudy tail (because clouds suggest rain)

So yes, please is this your dog Yugi???

(took so long to put this together that another post got in and I do rather like flipturns explanation better for the lucky number and fortune aspect too and the three signs coming together in the one pet appearancewise as well)

I see that all but one of my hints were found! Fantastic job on locating the picture hint in my signature, GatheringRosesInSnow! I can definitely assure that picture is one of the more larger hints in play, along with both the Western and Chinese Zodiac symbols.

There is one more picture hint still hidden that hasn't been found yet :)c You all already know that my dog has something to do with fortune, so perhaps looking in an area one can try their luck to gain said fortune would be a good place to look!

Since you all have done a wonderful job at presenting a compelling argument to explain which outcome is mine, I will go ahead and provide you three lucky responses:
1. The outcome that grew today is not mine!

2. As user flipturn concluded, the lucky number 3 does play a role in my outcome! However, their eyes does not symbolize it. The unfound photo hint may help provide information on that!
3. My staff pet does indeed have horns.
