Yes, there are a few zebras released each month, given to random users by chance when adopting the month's horses. (I believe the odds are close to 1 in 40,000, as that's the only statistic on the numbers I can find, but don't quote me on it.) It's just a luck-based system to ensure the zebras stay rare.


In other news, loving this design. I'm not usually fond of hamsters, but this one is pretty cute.

Do you know if it's been back for several months? Because I haven't seen anyone mention zebras in the monthly threads since they were removed a couple of years ago, and now a few people suddenly seem to have gotten them again.

There definitely have been Zebras in 2015, I can find some from September and December 2015 (not re-release of course :p) and I bet I could find some more if I had enough time~

After getting these gorgeous 2nd gens for Valentine's I am more interested in 2nd gens in general. Is there any way to find out which animals were bred in the past? Are there any such records?

CS wiki is a very helpful place, there are listed all 2nd gens aswell. :>
well, not really all, I think they haven't updated it in a long time, there are 2nd gens listed till 2013 and 3rd gens till 2012.

List zebras get given out to random people at random times when they adopt the horses/ponies from the regular monthly adopts. It has been this way since I joined.
the chance is very small. It happened back in the candy event to someone and now. These are the ones I know of.

Zebras were put back into the horse litters shortly after they received their new linearts from the Equine Transformation Project.
