I LOVE THIS INTERPRETATION SO MUCH! From here on out, this litter will be known as the Stratigraphy (strat) dogs.

When I made these dogs I actually didn't really base them on anything. I just let them happen. However, I don't know how many of you guys know this, but I actually just wrote my last exam for my degree, which happens to be in Archaeology. One of the important things in the discipline is understanding relative ages, through layers of dirt and rock (stratigraphy). SO this makes this oddly meaningful and important to my life even though that was never the intention at all.

This dog is being listed as "Green nebula", but I'd propose to adopt a different name for it, because there already is a pet with this name:

(In fact, that entire litter is already known as Nebula Litter, and it preceeds the other dogs by three years.)
I know the wiki calls it "toxic green", but to be honest I've never heard that as a commonly used name for it. It's always been just... green. Same with the Teal Curly.
I've been hoarding them since they came out, and never heard anyone call them anything other than just Green, Teal, Blue and Mohawk.

I thought the name 'Nebula' seemed very familiar. >.< To differentiate them, the newer ones could possibly be called the Harlequin Nebula litter, seeing as their white patterns are like harlequin danes. I know there's also another Day of the Dead litter (shortened to DotD), so the three Halloween dogs will need at least some name adjustment as well, possibly just adding '2015' to it.

Just wanted to add that those snake dog names arent the most commonly used xD they might be based off of those but ive seen em called grey, yellow, green and orange/blue snake pup more then anything else.

For these dogs, I propose the name MoonLight Litter, and in order: half moon dog, starry moon dog, cloudy moon dog, and full moon dog. I apologize if these names have already been suggested, I used the search function and didn't see anything. I know this thread generally uses common names, but I haven't heard any for these guys.

We could say "Night Balloon" for the third one, since "cloudy" isn't the most special indicator.
