As long as they have Wishlist pets, I'm really excited to receive trades. I want to have a complete collection, so every trade helps me get there. I don't actually receive that many more than I did before becoming a GH.

I might go to a different high school. I went to a private, all-girls high school; I want to know how different my life would have been had I gone to a normal high school. I imagine a lot of things would be drastically different right now. I love who I am now, though, so maybe my high school experience shaped me for the better.

Color. I'm American but during my teenage years I had a phase where I strongly believed that British spelling was superior to American spelling and I used all British spellings.

It's a Japanese word that means "to draw" or some variation of that. Following Japanese pronunciation it should be "ohh-eh-KAH-key". Forgive me for lack of a way to type that out. |D

Japanese. I'd love to visit Japan someday (my weeaboo interests aside) and I would like to feel confident while I am there. In addition, I'd like to learn a language that uses a different alphabet, so it's like hitting two birds with one stone. ^^

What trend do you hate the most?

I have a love-hate relationship with the gluten-free fad diet.
On one hand, it makes gluten-free options much more accessible. On the other hand, it makes it so people don't take me seriously and kitchen staff at a lot of restaurants don't actually know how to prepare a celiac-safe meals.

Uh... I don't know. I think I say "oh ee kah ki" in my head, but that's how I learned how to spell it. It's like how you think "bee a you tiful" when you learn to spell beautiful lol

Any thought about having children?

Yes! Definitely want them. More than one, not more than three (two's good; my kids need siblings to torment bond with. Either biological or adopted, I'll cross that bridge when it arrives.

Do you have a favorite memory/childhood experience?
You don't have to go into big details, but I always like to read fun/good past experiences. They give you that enjoyable nostalgic feeling & start awesome conversations.

I have this very clear memory of being very very small, and in a canvas backpack on my dad's back as he walked through the veld by our house. My sister must not have been born yet or juuust just born, but I was half asleep and the backpack was creaking with his steps. It smelled like tents, and everything smelled like dry dirt after the rain. Flying ants (termites) are fluttering around us, and my border collie is chasing them. I just remember feeling so incredibly calm and safe.

Also the time my parents left me unsupervised for TWO MINUTES and when they got back I'd found a warthog, and it had rolled onto its back so I could give it a belly rub. That was also a good one.

Flight or teleportation. I work in hard-to-get-to places. Sometimes it would be SO NICE not to have to walk through 500m of nettles to get where I need to be.

I love trades when they are fair and have stuff I need in them. I do not get many trades like that (because my wishlist is ridiculous).

I would keep playing the piano. I was getting really good and had been playing for years when I gave it up. It's a real shame and a big regret of mine.

I love orchids because my mother loves orchids and always has them in the house. I often have one in my room, too.

Three-way tie between baobab seeds (sour), mopane worms (crunchy and rubbery), and crocodile meat (tastes like chicken).
