Store pets are never re released correct? even if they are lists?

Hey! This is my first year. Any advice?
I just told my COPPA sister to lock away her pets (lol I feel like a noob >.>), so any advice will also be sent to her.

I just really hope I get a good pet this year, hands down. I'm crossing my fingers for a sun pup that will grow into a sunjewel!

I'm absolutely ecstatic for this year's December 18th, as I am every year. ^^ I can't wait to see the new URs, and I'd love to get a rares list pet and watch them grow. :>

I've a dumb question!

If you miss the turn on the new 24 hours (since I'm on a different time zone) Can you still adopt the 2 pets a few hours later or are the rares only out for the turn of the new 24 hours and disappear after?

The eighteenth works just like every other advent day. The pets are available to everyone for a full 24 hours, and then you're unable to adopt the 18th's box. ^^

You can adopt them all throughout the 18th. That is, until the next rollover. I am going to bed in a few minutes (almost 11pm for me, same timezone as CS) and will adopt them when I wake up in the morning.
