Staff Litter 2019 Discussion Thread

I'm going to guess who made this puppo-

I'm guessing that Saikiyo made it because:

It was revealed that their pup has three words to describe their personality

- Curious, Cunning, and Mischievous

I'm believing that the three words may refer to three species used in this design :3

Cunning- Fox
Curious- possibly a raccoon?
Mischievous- maybe a hyena?

This is a long shot but here goes-

Hmmm I don't think so. The art style doesn't fit with Saikiyo's previous Staff Litter Creations and the line work for the edit doesn't match.
(Not that an artist can't use a different style, I'm just sayin')

I'm taking a giant guess here but I just realized that if you switch the colors of the markings and base color on the dog in Zeenas dress up you end up with this guy


The orange and pink is switched to the base color and swapped into a different gradient and the black is now the markings, also the tan under belly symbolizing the paws?

This is Scruffy, my mix-mash pupper. c:

The dress up itself was a hint towards the hair and ears without giving too much away (especially in the puppy phase!). The stuffed animals were there to represent a mix of different animal parts, and the dog I chose had a family of animal-based prints with one family member having a spotty-like appearance.

The facial markings don't really have any significance, I just thought he needed something on his face. xD
Originally he was based off a fox and still has characteristics of fox-like markings so that's where the inspiration came from.

Next, I want to take a guess at Mettalic Dragon’s pup. I think this is your pup -



When I look at your hints, especially the nursery rhyme and the references to nursery rhymes, I think of children, or someon who is very young. Children enjoy nursery rhymes, and also go to camp. When I look at the remaining unclaimed pups, this one is the one who looks the youngest, It’s smaller than the rest, and its eyes are closed, possibly taking a nap after hearing nursery rhymes. and would probably enjoy going to pup camp. So I am guessing this pup is yours.

And I think when the clock strikes twelve, what will happen to your pup... your pup will grow up.

Edit - I saw the clock struc twelve already, and thought the pup would grow at rollover yesterday, but it didn’t, so maybe today? But I think the reference to the clock striking twelve, and what will happen seems to imply the pup is growing up, or maybe finishing up pup camp? I guess we’ll see.

I agree, I also think this pup is Meta's and also because it is small. The poem that was used, in its original format, stars a mouse (if that in and of itself is a hint) and this puppy is the smallest and most mouse-like of the remaining unclaimed pups. Plus Metallic tends to do small edits with their Staff pups in general (oic I made a pun)....so yeah, support for this one being Meta's c:

While the reasoning is incorrect, this is my pup, yes.
Bonus points if anyone can connect my hints to her correctly. I'll get you started by letting you know that the most important clues are in the titles of the groups.
