I think these chickens might be based on actual bird species.

The first reminds me of orioles, and the 2nd...I dont really know, frigate birds? haha has to be terribly wrong.

Whatever they are they are my fav pets of the month.

Looks a bit like an (african golden?) oriole? Save for the reddish colour on its tail, hmm.
But why would one be a red-breasted blackbird and another an oriole?

To me it looks more like a hooded oriole except for the lack of the red rump and the fact that the black patch extends down to the chest. And perhaps the artist was just going with random wild birds?

They are too perfect dear God.

I cannot wait to see what all these beauties grow up to look like. I
have a feeling I'll be hoarding the entire litter, and I can't say as if
I blame myself, this time, haha.

Also. The one pup that grew from the split outcome. /gestures/
Too cute. I'm going to end up hoarding them all if they turn out
as adorable as that one did.

Of all my Japan-themed dogs, it had to be Yugi that turned out to be PPS.
It couldn't be The Roman Empire or Joshua. It had to be Yugi.

I am so pleased with the adult version of the tokidoki dog, his tats are so cute!!! I also really like the chickens colors and the cat is just purrfect!!!
