Hachiko and The Professor

Once upon a time there was a dog named Hachiko. He lived in a house with a professor at the local school. They were the best of friends. Every day Hachiko would travel to the train station and see his friend off as he went to work. Only after the train had left would Hachiko turn and go to school himself. When the time came for the Professor to come home, Hachiko would always be there to meet him. So it was every day.

But one day things changed forever.

It started off as a normal day. Hachiko and his friend had their breakfast together and set off as usual. They set off on their daily journey to the train station. Hachiko saw the Professor off and went to school. When school was done and the clock had struck three, he went to the station to meet his friend.

But his friend never came back.

And Hachiko is still waiting to this day.

Based on the true story of Hachiko, with a few changes.
