im super late to the discussion, but im absolutely in LOVE with the 2nd gen dogs this month q__q they are so cute and between two of my favourite old pets, every outcome has been a showstopper in my book!!

omg! i thought about keroppi too when i first saw the green dog, but thought they wouldn’t due that due to copyrighted characters but it looks like they’re taking more of the “vibe” of each character and not one-on-one likeness.

now i’m so happy to see the line turning out to be sanrio based!! will definitely have to get all of this litter.

I ADORE the colouring on the otters this month, oh my gods. Almost like a mix of copper/patina and deep orange dusk at the shore of a teal sea. Gorgeous, needs to be talked about more.

i'm also very much seeing the sanrio resemblance! i was thinking that maybe it was just me, but....

but colorfullymorbid has a point, i see the arguement for ac influences.

i definitely agree if it is inspired by any copyrighted character, it's very much just "vibe" based, and it's also very possible that there's multiple influences for each pet in that litter for that exact reason.

Before I talk about the pets one fun fact:
I use "Kuromi" as part of my online name for about 13 years by now. I just found out there was a Sanrio Charakter with that name around 2 years ago xDD (The name is from a Tokyo Mew Mew Fancharacter and as all last names are colour-related I took "Kuro" (black) and added a "mi" to make it sound cuter xDDD)

If this theme is correct, I'd love to see Cinnamoroll over Sam. He is one of my favourites xD
From the ones that have grown so far I love Kerropi the most. It's so adorable ♥
