asdfhjkl I was SO CLOSE! to breaking the 15k milestone of unique outcomes (reg & store) by the end of 2023. o:<
even adding in the couple liquidated list pets in trades or my fave group I only barely miss the mark:

14,980 collection + 7 faves + 3 hoard + 5 list trades = 14,995 unique outcomes.

to be fair, it's much closer than I expected to be when I first set myself the challenge back in Sept/Oct (thought it'd reasonably take until late Jan, maybe Feb at earliest)! but I admit it sure does sting at least a little to get so close only to falter on those last few missed outcomes, I'm not gonna lie. here's to a fun 2024 though! :')


I'm not sure what I plan to really do after that milestone... I'm tempted to liquidate and focus more on hoards and themed groups instead (like all halloweens probably). I've already cannibalized my wishlist to be only looking for 08 pets I actually *want* (and/or are good trade fodder ;p), but completely giving up on the collection I'm not sure is totally right for me. Been getting (or trying to) all the monthly outcomes since, well, September of 08, so it's pretty ingrained into my playstyle at this point..... and also sorting 15k pets by species into trade groups is gonna take me months and I'm dreading that if I decide to do it, lol. I'm already prone to carpal tunnel for normal computer use as it is... :'o

Might not seem like alot, but considering I only had a few hundred (like MAYBE 300 different ones) I'm pretty proud of the progress I've made since starting this goal just a month or so ago!
I ALMOST have all the BWs for 2023. I think I'm only missing like 4? I could be wrong. But either way; I'm proud! I even managed to snag a store set 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I didn't expect to do that. Lol. I think my biggest hurdle is going to be the UR BW. But I'll cross that bridge when I get there. 😅

Congrats everyone on hitting milestones and happy New year! May this year bring you trades and completed goals. ☺️🙌🏼

Thanks to a lovely offsite trade, my sitting cat (including warriors!) collection is finally complete!! I'm so happy, this guy was hard to find even with plenty of high list fodder!

i’m getting sooo incredibly close to the full collection i’m so excited! i recently started selling my more valuable pets in hopes of using c$ to buy wishlist since it doesn’t seem my doubles of pets have been helping with trading recently, so hopefully that works out for me and i get some more wishlist pages down with that method!

❥ Alrighty, I don't get to post here that often - but I have made a tiny bit of progress thanks to the influx of pets from the re-release. A lot of older pets have been changing hands and floating around in the community. So thankful for the re-release! I'm currently missing 173 pets.

❥ Lion Collection Progress:
I was very fortunate to find someone to swap their true-date lion with mine so my Valentine's boy finally sits in the right place in my collection group.
That means to complete my lion collection I only need the UR Lion, the July PPS. And a true-date swap for my Christmas Lion.
Oh and I am missing this little lion as well.

❥ My goal for the new year is I'm going to try to get 5 true-date swaps between the rats I need TD swaps for and my other collections I need TD swaps for. I just want them to sit in the right place qq

a ltitle new years update:

my lion collection is now fully complete, all true dates as well, except for the ur lion :’)

I also now have a complete chick collection, super glad I was able to finish that one off by the end of the year^^

as for my deer collection, I am missing the 2015 & 2019 store sets and a camel from the egypt event! hopefully I can get enough fodder to trade for them

lastly all I’m missing for my pps fennec fox collection is the 2017 store fairy fox, which has proven difficult to trade for lol

This isn't really a collection update, but it's a cool update!

I got a card dog for Dec 18th but I already have the set. When I looked at mine, I realized I was one dog off of a full TD card set. Managed to date swap, so now I have a full TD card dog set!!!!

I was missing a TD of the King of Spades... guess what outcome I got from my card puppy...

What are your goals on CS? Complete my wishlist; failing that, achieving my dreamies of Eat Me Dog and Moon Tree Dog. I also would like to complete my Butterfly Wolf Collection

How close are you to completion? Nearly there; Missing those two pesky URs (Bumble and Peach) + The *shudders* Horrible PPS insects from 2021 Halloween, that I'll have to go and get again, I suppose. I really dislike them, though. (I'm an Ew, Bugs person lol. But...Completionist > Insect Phobia)

How long have you worked on this goal? Ever since I found out all the way back, I wanna say in 2017-2018, when I realized I had only missed 5 outcomes of the B-Wolves. I've been working toward getting them ever since. I've achieved my complete common collection, and a very kind user helped me achieve 1/3 UR releases.

After that, I suppose it shouldn't be too hard to try and get the rest.
