Something's up with the pound

At this point, all we can do is theorize. Tess and CS have run the pound in this format for years.
The pound system is easy to figure out. I would not be hard for cheaters to find scripts to snipe the first or VR pet.
Games use updates to patch exploits, maybe CS has too.

I have not used other collecting sites with a pound system to know if something else works.
Businesses do not do something just because a customer is loyal (but many give deals to new customers).
Yet since I am frustrated pound has not changed, I have slowed down my interest on CS.

CS has probably read hundreds if not thousands of people with pound suggestions.
Have faith that they know what they are doing and there is a reason for them keeping it the same.
Maybe they can't change because of the server, or software, or a financial reason.
Perhaps the pound is fair. We've never run a pound or website, so how do we know what goes on behind the scenes?

Is it just me or is the pound a lot easier to get rares+ from now that the rarity update is here? Is anyone else experiencing this ?

I make it to the pound less frequently than I did during summer, but after the rarity update I’ve been getting a lot better catches than I used to.
My last three catches were very rares.
Before the update I’d be lucky to get three rares a month.

I've noticed this! It made the pound more fun tbh ❤️ People have been more positive about their catches in servers and threads.

I also think it's been easier to snag rares. They stick around for at least 5 pages now it looks like (I keep track of it out of curiousity). I think this rarity update is going to really spice things up in the long run!

I’ve been keeping track of this as well, ive seen rares after refreshing my page 4+ times !

It has been making the pound a lot more fun, and I love seeing everyone’s catches on the pound thread

I once came late yet still got a rare. It didn't even look like one and I was staring at it for a while. It was a 2014 PPS fox.

That never happened before. Before, I had to be there on time to get anything good. And even then someone would get the pet 0.000001 of a second before me. With the exception of my beloved 2012 Cheshire Cat : )

I’ve had way fewer rares on my pages lately, but I do certainly think this update made getting good pets easier
