Rares List Discussion *DISCONTINUED*

I don't know if it's been said before, but what will happen to store pets that were on the list? I'm desperately trying to get a marionette and I don't want the list's discontinuation to get in the way of that. Do I trade for it like one would for a store pet? or treat it like a list pet? OR do I just have to start asking people what they want before I trade them?

I would ask people what they would like for it.

It always has been (or always should’ve been) user-based value. And personally, I would rather get a pm then a one sided trade clogging up my trade center.

Just going to put this here before the list gets locked- Just some tips/suggestions! (not law or anything, do whatever you want, haha.)
( I'm not very good with writing longer posts, so bear with me. xD)

• Trading will be rough for awhile, lock up your valuables.
After this, a lot of people that used the list will be a bit confused of where to go-
stay calm, trading will be rough for around a month or so, just latch onto your list
pets until we know what is actually valuable(in terms of how rare/it's worth more
than usual pets because of something) or it's a "normal" rare/very rare. (I put quotation marks
because some of them might get slightly more due being from previous demand or because of looks.)
With that being said, please don't send out trades that have some normal rares for a list pet.
It's already stressful to people who went by the list and did a lot of valuable and time-consuming
trading for that pet(s)- so it's not very nice unless they ask. Yes, a lot of pets are placed on the list
because of random/not the most best reasons, but keep in mind a lot were placed for actual reasons,
such as the malk, sunjewel, etc- so they're still very valuable,aka, above other pets, not worth random 4 09' rares. (unless the person
is trading it off for that, of course.)

• How will I know if my pets are worth anything special, not a normal 08/09 rare/VR?
Like I said above, cling onto your pets for awhile until some lists are stable- before and after this, make sure to
do your research! Look into archives and threads- a good thing to look for if there was a lot released or not, if it
was an extended-date, why it was put on the list in the first place- things like that! Or you could just wait till
the lists are structured enough to give you that information, but I'd recommend doing some of your own digging!

That's my suggestions/tips whilst also getting my mind out there, haha- hope I helped a bit !!
Trading will be rough for awhile, (imo) but I think this will be super helpful for the future years of CS(nothing lives forever,

I agree, store pets never went for their set price anyway so nothing has changed there

Quite right. See here, well and truly before the list was even a twinkling in anyone's eye. By todays standards, absolutely horrible. At the time, I was over the moon cause I'd finally gotten my Tox Bun.

I can't think of many pets that regularly went for their set list price actually

Honestly now that the list is gone I don't feel as stressed as I thought I would be

I can't even SEE where all my old Orange malks went x.x The trades are so old. Found one though and it's really painful :')
That said, looking through older trades, I've got good trades and I have bad trades that were perfectly reasonable at the time.
They all even out in the end to a collection I'm proud of.

edit: here's another one. I guess store pets seemed plentiful and easy to trade at one point in time...

That trade is grotesque in this day and age even w/o the store pets.
