I hate when you read the message they have before you open the trade. The ones that you know straight away are gonna be failtrades. But they are like car accidents, you don't wanna look, but you have to.

Btw, here are some uber fail trades back when I was noob. These make me feel so stupid.

P.S: Sometimes I wish we could name these people. How is it fair they can scam people, and still be allowed to play? xD

Someone ninja'd me out of a blue toxic when I was new and they're still around. I wish they would get banned. I had this noncoon I won from an art contest and offered it to them for the blue toxic they took. They just told me no and cancelled.

Yes, I know they're for trade. But seriously, you didn't leave a message when you could have and you had nothing on your side. It's unlikely that I would give free pets without at least a nice message, even if you are a newbie.

Reporting them to a mod won't do any good. The people who traded with you just happened to know more of rarities than you did. It's just sorta the way it works. Just as in real life, you gotta do your research and learn a bit. If you don't you get cheated. You were fine with accepting the trades at the time. Morally what they did was absolutely wrong but technically they are not against the rules of the site.
There's people all the time who over pay for things and gift things to other players. It's your word against theirs that this was not the case in these instances. If they went around reneging trades every time someone changed their mind after the fact the site would be total chaos.

You know what's worse? xD When you've been on almost half a year, don't realize that that green dog you got on Dec. 18 was UR and trade it for 2 pairs of the store headphones someone offers x . x Seriously. /shot

I over-offer on almost everything and if I had been smart enough to not have done that, maybe my joker offer (xD already over a joker's worth anyway) would be a bit closer to irresistible x _ x -desperate- But that's a different rant for a different day. xD
