Before today i hadn't gotten more than two of any outcome lol, so 5 was definitely a surprise!

One last hint from me:

I linger in the darkness, high up in the night.
My eyes will guide me, as they see the light.

I'm thinking like.. Either a Owl or a Mountain Lion or some other wild cat that wanders about at night. I'm probably wrong though ;;

Dang I'm thinking a bat... but owl sounds more correct ^^

I thought it was a bat too, but then I remembered that bats have horribly bad eyesight. If it weren't for that then they wouldn't have such a hard time catching and even finding their prey. They rely much more on their ears and sonar other than their eyes.
Owls seem to fit more. They mostly hunt at night, sitting in high trees, use their amazing eyesight and hearing to see.
A mountain lion somewhat fits too. They're active at night too, hide in trees, have very good eyesight at night.
A raccoon might fit too if you think about it more.
Just excuse me, I'm a animal nerd.. ;;
