OMYGOAT, what the cheezit happened to everything?! OHMYGOAT, OHMYGOAT, my entire world has just freakin'g flipped upside down! After three years..... oh, goat.

This was my exact reaction as I logged in this morning.

August Lion is Very Rare?
How can it have a rarity when it's only 10 days into August?

So now it's going to be twice as hard to trade for; because no one is going to want to trade a very rare for an '09 rare. -.-

According to what some are saying (though who knows really) the rarity will change as more enter the game through adoptions as new players adopt and older players that have not been on yet this month adopt...

Though... looking at that... the Munchkins are already very common... and with more maturing every day... and more being adopted every day... OMGSC might not be a common enough marker for it...

It is all so confusing and so far no word from "Those in the Know" to explain things better...

(edit- sorry , said the munchkins were VR instead of VC... half asleep and mentally fried trying to figure this all out, lol)

As more people adopt, it'll hopefully go down to rare. If it doesn't I'm going to cry. I feel sure it will, though, because the July lion seems less numerous, and it's rare, too.

Yes, I believe that as more people get them, the rarity will go down, and that is why they can assign rarities in the current month. No more unknowns!

Also, because of the new rarity setting, a 2012 very rare is worth the same as a 2009 very rare, because inactive users' pets no longer count towards the total.

the good news about the rarity changes is that i can get my butterfly wolves much easier now!

Yeah but I don't want to wait until the end of the month when their actual rarity shows.
I mean, think of how many people want rares list pets for the August lion before it had a rarity. Now that it's very rare, think of the overpay people are going to be demanding now! It's going to be twice as bad...
It would have just been better (and probably a lot easier to trade for) if it had just stayed unknown until the end of the month; when no more can be adopted...

And those rarity bars are kind of irritating.

I don't mind having my uncommon fodder being common (or less) now, because the pets I'd use them to trade for have also gone down in rarity.
But, I am kind of ticked about my rare fodder. It seems my pets have less value and the pets I want have gone rare or VR, and I can't afford to trade for them. </3

...what just happened to chickensmoothie....about half my rares go poof and i find out that the rarity bars look weird. Gawd. Its irritating to see. "oh, your not omgsr, get out! Your a failure". Is what they tell me
