1. Have you ever overpayed for mass-hoard pets or just a hoard pet in general?
My hummingbird bwolves, oh.my.gosh.
The first days after the first outcome grew, I overpayed massively for them. Rares were involved.
I also pay '09 rares for my jelly ponies occasionally.

2. Have you ever unintentionally hoarded something?

I only wanted one, but that day I got gifted eight ones by eight different users, so I kept them all x3
They aren't in a hoard group or labeled a hoard, but well, they pretty much are one xD

3. What is the hoard pet you found was the most difficult to trade for/obtain?
My first few jelly ponies were tough to get.
I only started hoarding them after the ETP changed their linearts, so a lot of people were looking for them as well.
They got easier to find later, though. By now they're fairly common in paperclip groups and the like, so the only real challenge is having something to offer that the person is interested in xD

Other than that, most of my hoardies were fairly easy to obtain.
One could argue that Vixens and UR Butterbuns are harder to find because they're rare, but I was never forced to overpay for one dramatically.
Although it is true that I recently lost an auction for one despite offering a Red Dragon xD Times change, I guess xD

Yes I have ~
For my Choco Sun Litter Dogs and Halloween cats I paid Rares for them

This little guy~ I had 5 of him and now 18/20... xD I don't know why but I traded this cat all the time, I wanted this guy so badly ~

Those three for me they are very hard to trade. It's hard to get them

Yep ^^ I usually pay a rare for hoard pets in mass (15+) groups, as well as sometimes offering uncommon for 3 or so common pets. I'm so afraid of having my trade cancelled, I guess, that I use up all my fodder xD I'll have nothing left eventually!

The Bunny rats. Whenever I see them in a trade group I just kind of think how much I love them, and then send a trade for them ^^ recently I havn't been trading, and I'm actually considering making this a hoard, but I'm not sure <3

3. What is the hoard pet you found was the most difficult to trade for/obtain?

Those guys. They used to be common but (yay! -sarcasm) recently turned uncommon. So that made trading for them a whole lot harder xD They're also just difficult to find ones for trade anyhow-

Yeah. I trade old store pets/2009 rares for quantities of my Chinese New Year hoard pets, I've had people tell me I'm crazy for it. I will also overpay a bit, if I have to, for my mini-hoards. I'm not really trying too hard to finish off my Wishlist (cause it's freaking impossible), so I don't mind.

I've started a couple of my hoards because I got tons of them through monthly adopts.
3. What is the hoard pet you found was the most difficult to trade for/obtain?
The Aquarium dogs from summer 2012. I tried to collect them during the event, and since it was one of the rarer outcomes, it was tough.
Next to that, it was probably these:

for some reason. I think many people avoid adopting rats because they don't like them, so there are fewer of them in circulation.

I never thought finding these guys would be so hard! I had this group as a regular hoard, but had to bump it down to a mini because I couldn't find any pets, which also answers these questions.... Also if anyone has a new name suggestion for the mini hoard, it would be gravely appriecated!

Definitely the deer-work hoard, but also my Sandy Ponies and Wilting Roses hoards are hard to trade for

These guys started out when I wanted just one of each. When I forgot to take them off my wishlist, people offered them in trades. When I came to look in my groups, I had over 20, so the hoard was born. Cx

3. What is the hoard pet you found was the most difficult to trade for/obtain?

The hardest pets by far for me to obtain are the Mohawk Nebulas. Most people are attached to their's and won't let go of them unless the offers are like the ones I've posted above.

Well, depends how large the pet image is ^^
So even bunnies could be different, if we get one with large lineart edits X3

Yes, almost every time. Especially if they're very common/common hoard pets.
It's okay for me.
I spent my trade pets (which I don't want, obviously) for pets I really want.

Yes, some of the Easter bunnies.
I had so many leftovers, for example the Snowshoe bunny. XD

SOME of them:

I hoarded all Halloween banner pets, but THIS ONE was even more difficult than the Moontree >__>

Starting new hoard!

Group is called Shango, it's a name of African god, spirit of fire, lightning, drums and dance.
I hope I will not abandon this hoard after month [as I usually do]. Wish me luck. ^^

Lol, I have a Shango too and I've managed to obtain 20 of those sun dogs fairly easily, largely thanks to shenzy707 so you should be fine!

1. I would say in general that I overpay for every hoard pet. It might not be extreme overpay, but sometimes I give my uncommons for hoard commons or I'll trade a pet that is much older.

2. Unintentionally all of the time. Something will happen and it will cause me to hoard. Sometimes when pets are first released I don't pay attention to them (apart from trying to get all outcomes for my collection) and then months later they will just make themselves known to me. A good recent example of this is;

I caught him at the Pound because all of a sudden I was like; 'that pattern is actually quite maginificent!' ...and then I was hooked.

3. These by far;

I want twenty, I have six. I NEVER see them in trading groups and four of mine were gifted to me.

My august pps lions. When I first started I would pay heaps, and heaps and heaps of 09' rares for them xD
Now I just stick to the low tiered advent pets.

This whole litter I started hoarding for a quantity auction, but I didn't have enough so I lost the auction. I ended up having nearly 500 so I continued to hoard them and all SoulWings pets xDD



3. What is the hoard pet you found was the most difficult to trade for/obtain?

Anyway, just got my latest lion.
Really low on name ideas :S
Usually I name my lions two words long, like Lavender Miracle, or Violet Dreaming, etc.
