i have just realized that the number in your profile url represents what number person you were to join the site, or at least i think so.

eg: Forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=571
that number, so i was the 571st person to join

which then led to the realization that cs numbers BOOMED by the end of 2008, and even more into 2009

I'm apparently the 151477th person to join and that's in late 2010!

If I could have told my younger self one thing regarding CS, it would have been to invest every little coin I had into old store pets and let them gather dust for a decade haha.
(Of course, being as young as I was, there was no way I'd ever have been allowed to spend real money on a virtual pet site - but one can dream~)
