Guys I am really torn.
I really want to like this dog,
like a lot.



The body is beautiful like the litter mates, and the ears are my favorite ear sets on the site.
The eyes are great -
But the mouth .....
The mouth is really not what I was hoping for.
And I have to admit, this was the pup I was most excited to see grow -
I think the concept, (As I imagined it anyway)
Could have been really, really cool.
The 'pit' like markings (Think python snake) made me really excited to see executed really well -
As it is solid-ish black dots, that don't really make sense any more is kind of off putting.
I really don't want to come off as rude .. because I honestly and truly really do love this litter.
More than I have a really long time.
I dunno. I am a bit disappointed, not in the whole design just in the mouth.
I'll probably still collect them ... In fact I know I will .
I just am a tad bit disappointed in this particular one.

I totally agree. I love everything of the dog except that mouth. It just looks like...dots kind of added on with no real purpose.

To me the mouth looks like an unlit Jack-o-lantern mouth. Or, kinda looks like Hannibal's hockey mask a bit (which makes sense considering the old myth/urban legend of the full moon bringing out the crazies). It's hard to tell how it fits in with the litter until we see all of them.

One a dog/litter that is super stylized/detailed random black dots just look out of place.

I getcha. I will say, though, none of the mouths/faces are really overly detailed yet. The full moon one with the stars everywhere you can't even see it's mouth it's so camouflaged. It might just have been an oversight to not do a little better shading. Then again...it could just be so black there is no light to give it any kind of detail (since we are talking about a crazy dark sky scene with these pups).

Edit: Still got one more to go. Let's see if it makes a little more sense once that one grows up.

MWAHA! Indeed! This is correct. Others already mentioned this a few pages back, but I wouldn't say anything before the butter babies were all grown. They even got the correct picture and transformation right. The so called 'Butterflix' transformation. I saw a commercial for the season where they were featured and as soon as I saw their dresses my mind went "Dang... Pretty colors... Those colors would look good on a butterfly wolf..." So that's the color palette the litter is inspired from~
