i think i have a theory on why this little fella is desmond's!

1. "And hint-hunters... I don't even know where to tell you to start. Good luck."
Through a bunch of searching and more than a few false alarms, we were able to find Tús, which is a dress-up of an orca horse and has the orca as the focus.
5. "Blackberry" in invisible text in signature.
blackberry is the name of an orca up for adoption
6. "Cappuccino" in insivible text in signature.
same goes for cappuccino

additionally, the pet actually physically looks like an orca whale with the black body and white underbelly.

Ah, yes. Time for hint #2: If my pup had to choose between nature (mtns, beach, forest, etc.) or man-made things (buildings, machines, etc.), he would choose nature.

The Dark Sultan: Do any of you guys (nonstaff) have personal nicknames for the dogs?
I've got some weirder names in there, like Garmeth and Banyu, but there's some slightly more normal stuff in there like Crime Flick, Hivemind and Edgeworth.

(all of my pet's personal nicknames are in this group but i felt awkward about putting this because i felt like it seemed a little advertisy to want to share pet names of all things.)

After listening to the song, is this one your pup?

Come on, I won't claim/deny with just this

The pup looks like it has stars on its back. The red/orange stripe and the white base color could be the fire/ice reference. Maroon is not the main color of this puppy. The pup's nose could gain another color when it grows up. This puppy doesn't currently have line edits, like the second stage of your other two staff dogs and the design isn't overly complicated. Pup's eyes could be purple, but we don't know because they're currently closed, and could open once it's grown up

You're using my hints all wrong.

I said it at least three times now.

You need to listen to one of the songs to find the way to my puppy.

And since everybody ignores my previous posts I'll say it again now:
the song with the stars in its name is the song you need to listen to. You don't have to really understand the lyrics, it's the song itself.
This one can help you figure out the main aspect of how my pup looks like now and narrow it down to just a few pups.

(this is still neither a denial nor a claim, but I refuse to say anything until you guys mention the connection to the song. Kudos to the nose and eye colour hints though)

I feel like the Stars song and Warriors both have to do with change and wanting to do different in life. Wanting to be unique.
I honestly don't think that the pup has visible stars on it, but it is a figure of speech. Such as: All stars are different. Not all are the same. Some shine brighter than others, some are bigger than others. They are all different, but they are all beautiful.

In Warriors,

Of all the things that you would change
But it was just a dream!

Someone who wants to grow up and do differently, be unique, potentially change the world. That's how I interpret it.

The stars song:

Again, I feel like this is turning back to the 'I am my own person. I can be unique. I can change the world.' theme. I mean i could just be rambling nonsense about Raire's hints because it's 1am and I am exhausted, but that's just what I think of.

Adding on to this, There are no outcomes right now with purple eyes. And if they did have purple eyes in the past, that means they no longer do. That leads me to believe it is one of the pups with closed eyes. Because therefore, the eyes could have been purple but have changed but we would not know due to the eyes being closed.
