Ah, I knew the latest butterfly wolf reminded me of something! Saikiyo also did a BW litter, themed around Day of the Dead, in Halloween 2014. The colouring style reminded me of those, so pretty <3

So I'm a little confused here XD
Shouldn't she have grown, or is there a split? I feel like I'm missing something. Because she's Day 21 and hasn't grown yet, and I looked at all the other grown up versions of this dog and they're also Day 21. Any answer would be highly appreciated XD
theres two amethysts that grew on different days, they aren't splits, just different amethysts! you can identify the difference by their ears. (the first one is cape amethyst.)
Superheated Amethyst Citrine! Now I'm hoping the other will grow into Banded Prasiolite since that's treated Amethyst too. This is real neat.

These pillars don't actually have a real 'theme' to them the colors/coloring style was inspired by a side project of mine (I may show you when the pillars show their true colors). Mardi Gras (or anything similar) isn't celebrated where I come from and I actually know almost nothing about it
Can we hear what this project was now? Must be a pretty neat project seeing how the last butterfly wolf turned out!

Hmmmm
Late to the party, but I am still really not sure how I feel about these dogs. I am kind of over the whole gem/stone/mineral based animals, and the fact that we got three of them this month alone isn't helping raise my enthusiasm. Don't get me wrong, the patterning is nice, the shine is appropriate - the actual positioning of the 'gems' though is throwing me off quite a bit. I don't really care for them. I think I'd like them a lot better unedited ... but then again we have had 3 other similar shiny gem based litters, so I guess It's nice to have a bit of a difference? I dunno. They're not for me.
It was also not surprising to figure out what the second gen ponies would look this this month. Both parents have pretty similar designs, and at the risk of sounding rude, they're pretty bland. Plain designs are fine, but for second gens I like a little bit more of excitement. Part of the fun of 2nd gens is trying to figure out how the patterns will end up playing into both parents designs - and when the parents are so similar, its easy to guess, there isn't a lot left to the imagination.
The foxes have blown me away however. They are the perfect blend of simple, and intricate. I don't love the facial pattern of the fox tonight, but the other two are complete perfection.
The 'lightning' dog also exceeded my expectations.
I am very interested to see how the horses end up- having been to the Netherlands myself, the idea of dutch pottery patterning is very appealing.

Omg I haven't even thought of the possibility of Prasiolite yet!
I would die if we got that, I'd instantly have a new endless hoard ;A;
Seriously idk how I'd handle it to get Prasiolite and Ametrine in the same litter. Now I can't help but hope <3
