I'm not sure if anyone has posted this (mainly because i dont have the time or the patience to read through it all) but the lion and the lioness differ. Not only is the lioness (slightly) smaller, but she also has a different nose shape, her eyes are larger, and her tail tuft is longer.

I think the shape of the back is also different

The eyes look different, the eyebrows on the new ones are much more defined. The manes and tails are larger, and the stomach of the new ones are longer. It's easier to see if you 'drag' the old picture onto the new one, and try to overlap it.
