I remember these! I remember back when there was going to be a Sunback Plushie for purchase at a con, but I think it wasn't going to be ready in time. So we got the pet instead!

Wow! Total memory blast there. I remember being so sad I couldn't/didn't get those. I still have my original DIY cake set though ^-^

I remember it feeling so empty (not many people) when I first joined since it was only 5 months old when I joined. It took them a while to add new pets to adopt and I didn't know there were multiple outcomes so I only adopted one of each pet.

I first encountered the site in about April 2009, but didn't decide to join until the August. The August 2009 pets are still among my all time favourite pets. Your first ever adopts are always special.

Can't quite believe it's been 12 years, but have enjoyed every second of my time here.

Omg I have those and I still have the backpack buttons, they are on my backpack that I keep stuff for work in. I dont care how childish people think me for it, they have no idea I grew up with these pixel dogs. x'D

As a side note I just went looking for the trade rant thread and come to find out they aren't allowed anymore, what the heckles. That was such a popular thing. xD

Oh boy, 12 years. I've joined at the end of 2008, I was only 10 + English wasn't my first language, so I had a little hard time. I barely remember the layout, pets etc. I only know, I guess, it was yellowish, that's it. And I was crazy about dogs, so I only adopted dogs in some months *sad noises*.
I was stupid, I was naive (I traded my now-so-rare-pets almost for free ), but that was a good time.
Then it was 1st anniversary, 2nd... 3rd... and then I forgot about the page for 8 years and came back somehow (God bless e-mail notifications).
Good to see it's still running after all those years.

all I clearly remember is chatting with Tess in the site live-chat while she was drawing new litters. It was amazing! haha~
I remember how worried I was once they implemented the accounts and I was worried I wouldn't be able to add the pets I had 'adopted' from someone else into my account haha. (spoiler, everything was just fine)

My biggest regret...... not having adopted 21201 pets from the cards litter so I wouldn't be suffering trying to find a joker for 12 years! ;u;
