Oh wow, I'm glad I got it as an adopt. I was like "Why's there so much freaking out over this dragon? It'll probably just be uncommon." XD

I didn't get it from adopting, but it doesn't matter, since I don't collect Tess dragons. He does look good though and I am surprised he went very rare already.

I got three from adopting and auctioned them all since I didn't like them and people made a fuss about them and I thought they'd be uncommon at most since I got three ... x'D epic fail.

I think we should wait till people stop buying the Easter pets from the store and they all have rarity's before we take there rarity's seriously. Even than im waiting till the next rarity update to see if any of them changed.

Since people now know what pets are rarer they can go and buy more of them which could change there rarity.
But I figured the Easter blu dogs (cost 4 eggs each to get) and chocolate horses (cost 3 eggs each to get) would be rare though.
Mostly because they required more eggs to trade for them and both have more than 1 outcome you can get by adopting them.

Still cant believe is now very rare, its less than 2 months old.

Yeah, he went rare recently because when someone offered a trade on him this morning I had to do a double take. I thought I was just tired. I'm so happy though, because now that I have him he can go rare and it'll just give me something to boast about.

I don't think "popularity" has anything to do with site rarity. From what I understand, it's an equation based on how many of a certain pet there is versus how many users there are.

Exactly this, so there's just a few amount of those dragons compared to the large amount of users on CS (also counting the fact, there's a new user joining almost every 10 or so minutes <-- just a guess, never actually calculated XD).
