Also congrats to the user who has a sunback plushie! How’d you get it?

I’ve heard from a few different threads that it was never released, and a few of them are holed up in a storage somewhere I believe

I don't have any more information than everyone else, really. I got it from an ex-staff member who also mentioned the storage plushies but they had no idea if those plushies still exist/are still in storage somewhere as it's been years. No clue how many were originally made or are floating around out there. I like to think that a hoard of plushies in storage still exists and there are boxes of sunback plushies waiting to be discovered and freed, though!

The eyes on your sunback look a bit brighter than the one in pictured in this image(not taken by me by the way!)
It’s not the best angle but I’m wondering if the CS plush went through one to a few different versions !



Edit: the legs and stomach look a bit smaller on the one I pictured too, but I’m also not completely confident on that

The actual sunback design looks different also. That one has a more oval shape and longer sun rays, the one I have is more circular and more like dots than rays. The one in the original photo could very well be an earlier version/prototype. Hard to say with the colors because the other photo has a bit dull lighting. I tried to position mine in the exact same way as the other one is positioned to compare here, and my good daylight has also gone as it's getting late here lol:



EDIT: Doesn't look like the other one has the peachy front legs, either, just white legs.

EDITEDIT: And I think mine is just extra swole LOL He's very thick on the back with extra stuffing.

so jealous of you !! i remember seeing the sunback plush and wanting it !

the only piece of cs merch i have/had was the stickers and buttons from the 2014? christmas giveaway.
i’m crossing my fingers so hard that they’re in a box in my mom’s garage, if not, then they’re lost and i’m sad lol

hoping that cs does eventually get some more merch <3 now that i’m an adult with my own money id be more than happy to buy cs stuff (i already buy c$) but i love this site loads and would love to support it more!

Edit: the tails seem to look different between the 2 plushies ! One tail looks like it only has the softer orange but the other has a soft orange and dark rust color on the tail.
It could be the positioning in the photo too though
