I wasn't lucky enough to get any day 2 chicks, all of my eggs hatched tonight, must be a split.

I don't like splits ... mostly because they don't like me. Bad eggs!

Phew - glad no one else has newborn chicks! Panicked a little bit then - now to just stress over a possible split outcome!

Oh, phew, no more on-time eggs ^^" all of my chickies grew too! I'm excited to see what they become, I love the honeycomb patterns!

Well, if they're based on bees, it'll be male drones, infertile worker females, virgin queens and a bred queen.

As we note, we have a nice healthy split, which could easily be split between those who were fed royal jelly and those who were not.

So one set would be the drone and worker, the second set, the virgin queens and established queens.

I hope I don't get pings by the censor - it's just a technical term for young queens who haven't taken over a hive or flown off to make their own hive.
