We go by most used names usually c: the black and brown dutch ones i can see but i havent seen anybody reffer to the others by those names.

But wouldn't it be good to start informing those what their designs are based off of?

That is not what the guides are for, they are to help people find what their specifc pet is named after. Any of the name guides on cs go by the most commonly used name because otherwise its confusing. Not everybody knows exactly what breed of guinea pigs there are so i feel like it would just cause confusion? I can add their breeds like (this) behind their names but i personally dont see the added value of that myself. How do others feel about this matter?

I've personally called it White Bunnyhamster, since this is in fact a Syrian hamster. Just with lineart edits so that it has longer ears and resembles a bunny. X3

The guide is pretty updated? Bunnies and pigs are fully up to date and hammies only miss halloween and xmas from what i can see. Itll be updated around easter again, i update guides at a 3-4 month increment!,
