I'm curious about two things: The general theme behind the design of the January dogs from this batch:

and the current March dogs' theme as well.
I notice there's usually some kind of theme behind the designs, and I can usually guess it if it isn't just something simple like a design, but these have me stumped, aside from maybe fairytales, and fungus?

I think the last month's dogs were based off of ballet themes and the dogs this month are based off of some Japanese dishes.

I think the last month's dogs were based off of ballet themes and the dogs this month are based off of some Japanese dishes.

OHHH! That would explain a lot actually. The ribbons, for one, although I'm not sure what this particular ballet dog represents?

I think that they are like flowers or different 'biomes' or something. The first one is garden-t and the second has mushrooms on it.
