I asked about a PPS hoard for various species (ie Cat, Rat, horse etc) and the general response I seemed to get was 'there aren't enough PPS variations for species specific PPS hoards'. Either that or people were not understanding what I was trying to say which was why I gave up asking. No sense trying to explain myself over and over again when all people way was 'I have a PPS hoard that is not a dog' and kept pointing me toward the Non-Dog PPS records despite the fact I had clearly stated I ONLY collect PPS rats and was asking if a Rat (or cat or horse or pony) PPS hoard record could be made.

My guess is that people think having PPS hoards for dogs specifically and then PPS hoards for everything that is not a dog is enough since everything non-dog isn't popular enough to have more than a handful of PPS outcomes each.

I understand what you mean. I collect PPS Owls, and would love them to have a separate catogory, but Iknow not many people collect them. A lot of people thing that PPS only applies to dogs, when actually most breeds do have a PPS version, though they are not always as popular. I understand why there is not a separate catogory and think that is the right thing, {though it would be pretty awesome to have separate PPS owl catogory}
