Is it the markings on ghost kitty?

they look similar to the ones on celozons previous cat
it could also be the spots on space kitty, again, similar to the freckles on celozons previous cat but that one seems less likely

Clues so far;

• You only need to compare my cat from last year and my cat from this year.
• What I am referring to is in terms of pixel art. Its not pixelated yet, but it will be in the adult. Having knowledge of pixel art (and how it is done) will help but is not necessary.
• Don't overthink it.

It is not referring to;

• Spots of any kind
• The shadow on ghost kitty
• Anything that looks pixel-ish currently
• Any similarity in markings

And these are the remaining possibilities;

The third kitten has the same coloured eyes as last years. Could that be something?

first off the eyes are a much difference color :3 also this kitty has very different patterns from your kitty last year also the interesting streaks of white seem quite different c: also another difference could be the way they are pixelated! it could be a part pixel kitty but who knows yet! :3

Aaaaaa, I love its pose! I'm going to be sad to see it's pose change.. I'm sure it's new pose will look good but I just LOVE how it's currently curled up, so adorable. <3

Having done pixel art, I'm going to say it's the THIRD one. Very subtle, but notable fields of color. The other two have layered blending or gradient. Also, all the stars are SQUARE.

Hmmm this is true. The stars are square part is very vital information as well... but the second cat does seem really crisp in color. I have to say that I'll change sides and go along with the third one, I've never actually looked deeply to notice the star's shape.

I know right! It's absolutely adorable, and the pose is very well made. The little lion-like item is also really nice contrast to the blue. Hoping to hoard at least 10?

Cat 2: Crisp, but effected by the shadow/highlight layer. also the eyes are a gradient.

Cat 3: Subtle, but no less crisp. No blending. Highlights are solid color, not an effect. Eyes are not a smooth gradient, but fields of color.

Also noting it's NOT the ghost cat, Cal mentioned earlier that their cat is dark.
