I think CS just moves Easter celebrations to make sure that members keep visiting the site.

Early would make more sense, though then there isn't anything special in May. We've had St. Patrick's day in March, Valentine's Day in February, and CNY in January. We've already had special B-day pets this month already, so it might seem good to have special pets and what not in part of May just so we don't have a giant lapse between holidays unless there is some obscure celebration I don't know about...

I'm sure you can find some kind of odd holiday a few different days in May. :3 World Rat Day is not celebrated by CS </3

I like this idea. ^^ We have had many a holiday these past months, and I can't think of any major holidays in May, so on time would be alright with me. :3

yes, the Easter hunt moves each year because the date of Easter moves each year

this year Easter is very late in April (24th), so would you guys prefer to start hunting a little before Easter Sunday so that we can finish by the end of April, or wait to start on Easter and continue hunting into the beginning of May? I'm thinking we'll start a little early, so that the hunt doesn't lose all relevance by the end

Hey Tess, I think a bit before Easter is best. That way, Easter can stay within it's normal month. Also, by starting the Easter celebrations early, people can get cute new Easter pets and decorate them for their sigs before Easter day =D

Hrm, yeah, but the only one of those I've heard of is Cinco de Mayo And I don't even celebrate that. I don't even know what it is a celebration about. I don't think anyone I know celebrates Cinco de Mayo. As in when CS celebrates Easter and Christmas, there is a majority of the world that does celebrate those holidays. ASFAIK, only persons of Mexican decent, and their families would celebrate Cino de Mayo...
