I assume it's animals from Chinese zodiac: ox, dragon, rooster and snake.

Okay so. Some of Yugi's answers are related with stars. Zodiac signs have their constellations.

Honeysuckle is associated with Aries according to this site and some others (there doesn't seem to be an official flower zodiac as it's very different in various sources)

It'd be a difficult choice, but she'd likely choose to befriend an ox.
Though, if mythical creatures count, she would choose a dragon B)c

How would your pet like going swimming?

I don't think she'd be all that great at it unfortunately. Either way, she wouldn't want to accidentally get her fur dirtied!

Ox and dragon were mentioned before hmm..
I'm not guessing yet that pup is based on sheep but I would worry about getting it's pretty wool dirtied....

Hmm just found out there's a lynx constellation. Part of me really wants to stick with my original guess

You're on the right track, but no that is not my pup. ^^
Don't get too caught up on the lotus hint, mine has nothing to do with flowers or anything. c:
Try thinking more about the other hints I've tossed around.

I just wanted to hint at space, that's it. After you all were quite stumped with my two first hints, I stopped throwing more of them and instead started to answer questions.

One of them, with "space" in mind, could basically tell you which puppy design is mine.

But while not being the most difficult one in terms of lineart edits (only added fangs) or being what I actually like, my third staff dog Morn is my current favourite. She got a whole tragic backstory, nothing can beat that, haha.

Okay so I can't see a connection to space with this one but this pupper in particular really reminds my of your past middle stage pups. A simplistic design on the youngster then a pixel twist on the adult. Also, the orby eyes without a distinct pupil remind me of your 2019(?) pup. Your pups generally have straight tails and pointed ears. So while I'm having a bit of trouble matching the hints this one feels like yours.



Question- will pixel fun be making an appearance again this year?

I wonder if when your pup grows it will act as a hare or squirrel's "biome" and be the night sky, the eyes are a setting sun (no pupil would make it quite hard to see), and saxifrage growing on it. 🔍

"Squirrels and rabbits eat raspberry bushes, as do deer and raccoons." - article i read

"A nose wiggling constantly" limits this to rabbits and squirrels again. (;

I've got two theories based on your question answers.
This is my stronger of the two:

I think this is yours. I think it has sprouts of tufted saxifrage on it. You denied a pup but said the user was on the right track when they pointed to actual spheres on the pup. I think these little dots are literal spheres - stars. You say his favourite colour is all the colours and how they blend together. I think this is coded language for white, and I have a hunch he'll have white eyes. You answered his favourite relaxation activity is to wait for nighttime to watch. I think he is waiting for nighttime to open his eyes.


This theory is far more abstract, but... mayday/panpan = low. Low down on this pup are the dark colours. I think maybe they're the sea, or earth's atmosphere, depending which kind of ship we're referencing. Mayday is usually shouted 3 times - there are 3 patches of dark on him.
Curiosity/spirit/opportunity = high. High up on the pup are the stars! Probably the destination.
