Okay okay... I get why everyone loves dragons now. They were just Ehhhh for me before but now I'm in love.
*edit I cannot imagine how long all of the quilting detail must have taken.
Also I was surprised by the ponies this month. I thought they were going to be day of the dead/sugar skull ponies are but I really like how they are turning out!

If you want to know how long it took, I don't have the exact time but, I am crazy fast when it comes to art, a pet normally takes 1-2 hours this took 3 days. My hand nearly died (not really but still)

Saikiyo, you really must make more like this! I am so in love with the whole litter/clutch (clutch for dragons and lizards). I honestly want to rip it from the pixel base and cuddle it. <3

Now I'm imagining an actual plushie of this dragon and lament the fact that I never learned how to make plushies.
Because honestly, I would love to see this. It would be really darn adorable!

No kidding. XD At first I thought they'd end up looking similar to the dog litter we had before (forget what year atm), but then seeing the 2nd stage of them... it was soon that I knew I wanted to do a small hoard of them (nothing large, only about 3-5 of each). They are just too darned cute to ignore! <3

All of the leaves and flowers are in the same place, because each flower, leaf, and stem have a huge amount of layers that correspond with them, some of them with lighting effects that can't be merged into one layer, and it wasn't a good idea to move them or redraw the flowers each time. I spent hours on this litter as it is, but considered individual flowers to be an unnecessary time expense.
So I concentrated on making the colors and the stems distinct, because flower position really don't matter in the end. By itself, each design is lovely.

These pups are gorgeous and I love them all. I appreciate all the work you put into your pets, and I always look forward to seeing new pets from you because your pets are always so well done and beautiful. Reading how you did each flower, leaf and stem to make them look like little jewels makes me appreciate you and these pups even more. I am excited to see the last pup grow. <3

I'm imagining a medium-sized body with actual floppy quilt wings rather than smaller stiffer ones. Alas, I cannot sew to save my soul.

Ah, this precious baby has beautiful eyes!
I think my favourite is still the PPS because of the perfect colours, but this one has got to be second.
The colour scheme works very nicely with the theme, and the markings look very neat. The gear marking over the eye especially!

Just a quick check because I am terribly paranoid about misplacing pets: we have gotten 34 so far and unless we get splits tomorrow May will end up with 36 pets right?
