i don't know what i'm doing anymore.

You should always wait until the final outcome, because you might not like the final stage, I know I've looked at a pet before and thought I was gonna love it, but then just wasn't interested at the final growth stage.

I have fodder upon fodder, so I'm cool with hoarding something, finding out a don't like it, and trading/gifting it away :L
I do nothing but hoard, and tbh, the only time I hoarded something then didn't like it, was the clowdia staff dog that grew tentacles xD
