Yay new update! I was recently gifted a UR Ice Cat, out of nowhere! That’s my most valuable pet right now.

not technically my most valuable pets in terms of rarity, but they do mean the most to me!
when i first started playing in 2015 i remember seeing the chia store deer for sale and i literally couldn't believe my eyes, they were the most beautiful pets I'd ever seen and I made up my mind that I'd collect the whole set. unfortunately since i was pretty young when i started playing i didn't have the money to spend on the game, so they came and went and I didn't get to buy them. my lovely best friend did gift me the purple one in 2017 (my favorite of the litter!), and for a while that was enough for me and was my most special pet and probably still is.

years later in 2020 i finally resolved to collect the rest of the set - i did art commissions for c$, collected trade fodder - and as it turned out, someone ended up gifting me the green deer! i was shocked and so happy

i got the earth deer also as a payment for art, and in the end i only needed rares to trade for the ocean and special lineart deer. I've collected much rarer pets since but these pets have a lot of sentimental value to me and kind of represent me growing up and working to get what I want, which sounds silly but it feels really nice that I finally ended up getting the pets that meant the most to me as a kid 😌

I auctioned a July Lioness back in July 2012 when it came out and the hype for it was absolutely insane. The winning bid was a trade that secured me most of my dream pets and that would probably make a modern day user scream.

I hope the user who sent me that bid is having a great day. Back in the day pets like the Raven weren't valued nearly as highly as they are now, but it was still solidly an MA and demand for 2010 stores was growing. There's no way I could have achieved most of the pets in that trade today if I tried.

i actually used to hoard drink me's because they were my absolute favorite, i had about 10, i can't remember exactly, but i ended up trading all but one away, my very first one.

such a coincidence that my first and the one i decided to keep was traded to me on my now boyfriend of 4 year's birthday. the universe bro

I am actually not sure what my rarest pet is. But I think it might be a December 18 PPS puppy.
If not that it is a rare pet I got as a gift when I joined, it is a dog with a blue stripe. ^^
