The “don’t like it don’t use it” excuse was used in the old rares list and I know you know how that one turned out. The community ended up having it held over them as law anyway.

You don’t get to decide what other people value their own pets at. If you don’t want to follow their values you don’t have to trade them. If they want to follow it they can and you can’t just..

I understand that’s a bit dumbed down but essentially, it’s what that argument boils down to.

True. I don’t get to decide how people value their pets. But that also means a very small handful of people do not get to decide how a community guide is valued and run. No longer a community guide. It’s now a personal guide.

A community guide. A guide. It’s entirely optional to follow it or not, and you can always disagree with values and work to get them changed.

Highly agree lmaooo. Also, in order to get a perfect list, you would have to ask every single chicken smoothie user their opinion, and how they would value something, and average it out. Even still, you wouldn’t make everyone happy with the results. Some users are still going to think this ‘list’ is going to be botched, and some are going to enjoy it. It just shouldn’t happen at all.

@DrMoneyBags When the old list was running, much of the community was left out. Basically, you have to have loads of rares or even be elite to have your post be even remotely considered. I know this from experience, from attempting to take part in said discussion to even seeing players left in the dust daily.

Only way this will be an actual community guide is if ALL members of the community takes part, no matter how many rare pets they have, how much they traded or for any reason. Community means everyone.

No one said demand shouldn’t be in trading. We said it should not be in a list and people should decide demand for themselves.

I don't really agree that it's fair to keep demand values in the dark. It leaves people vulnerable to being manipulated and you'll know I said the exact same thing when demand was removed from the old list. Part of the problem of the old list.

None of the others lists are really active or even close to being true lists anymore so I wouldn’t consider those actual options. Demand values aren’t in the dark, you see them literally everywhere you go. There is a difference between keeping them in the dark and setting them in stone. Putting demand in a list sets it in stone. Again, please look back at the old list and remember the havoc and destruction it created

I think the fact that you don't see them as options are exactly reflective of the fact that people are free to use what list to value pets which better suits how they view value

I was not around for the old list, so I can’t speak on it’s issues. I can only give what I would like to see, and the problems I’ve had without one.

I think that having experienced users give input is good, but yes of course others should 100% have just as much of a say.

But I don’t see the point you’re trying to make in relation to this- this ISNT the old list. It’s a new one owo

I get your point. People are going to enjoy it, because that’s what they believe. But then why make a list? If only a few people like it, can’t they just put it in their trade rules?
Why have to link to a whole ‘list’. There’s multiple ones, I know, but... I don’t know. I just think having a list is a little redundant.

Everyone mentioning the "don't use it" logic is literally missing the main point of what the issue was with the LAST LIST.

people will begin to treat this list as law. And people who don't want to go by it will ultimately be forced to in order to trade up to what they want. this argument is being missed in a lot of posts, and before you consider this, please quit posting the stupid "don't use it" logic; people that trade every day or even just once will always be forced to adhere to the list that people are currently band wagoning.

I've gone ahead and made a poll just so we can see what the community wants - please just state your honest opinion ^^

That’s how the economy works anywhere though. I think vans are overpriced but if I want to buy vans I’m going to have to pay what’s being charged for the vans.

It’s not law, I don’t have to buy it. I could get the secondhand or from a shady shopping mall. But I chose to get them from the main retailer and as such had to pay it.

If you want something from someone you are trading on their terms, people forget that. you don’t get to pick what they want
