Getting the markings is just like if they grew. A.K.A. it depends on the age. No one's ponies started off with markings, but at two days the markings appeared. Your ponies are only 1 day old.

A pet's age changes at the exact same second each day as when you adopted it. So for example, if you adopted your pets at 10:14 PM on Nov. 1, your pets will not be 1 day old until exactly 10:14 PM on Nov. 2.

Oh, I remember that when CS started they went with the day change growing.

If you live in America, the new pets actually come out on the 31st (or the last day of the month). If you adopted them around midnight in your timezone, then your pets will likely be a day behind the earliest adopted pets. Mine were also slow to get the markings. They were two days old without the markings, but then I refreshed and they had them.

I live in WA. They came out around 6:00 pm on the 31st as you said. Just adding to that.
