Do you still have any of your original CS pets?

Here’s my first pet!! I can’t believe I’ve been on Chicken Smoothie for almost two years, but my first pet is still a “newer pet”. I have almost all the pets I’ve adopted because I’m trying to have a full collection for every year since I join so I keep all pets besides douples (and I even have a hard time trading away doubles because of a hoarder mentality).
Because chicken smoothie was here so long before I joined most of my collection is pets I’ve traded for. Based on the “how many pets on CS” thread, I estimate I’ve probably adopted about 2,000-3,000 pets myself and according to the archive I have over 9,000 pets, so that’s 6,000-7,000 I’ve traded for (mostly from free adoption centers, which is how I got so many pets from nothing when I started)

He's my oldest self-adopted dog! I did not adopt the July pets when I joined, and I regretted it by late August.

I have three of these 2nd gens that I adopted when they came out. This one's the rarest.

These were all adopted when you could only adopt one pet at a time. I have traded some away over time (lots of the rats went) but yes, I am a little bit sentimental about some of the originals. I loved the warrior cats and those pets were my introduction to the book series and Lore. I remember being utterly baffled by all the different pups in the 2nd gen litter vs. the grey one, and so I did not adopt as many grey pups which I REGRETTED when I discovered the PPS.

I know I adopted some of the July pets (A boar dog and a dice pony are the ones I remember - grown dog, I think grown yellow pony) but they were off-account, and it took me like half a month to figure it all out. I wish I knew where their codes were, I think I left them on forums and Horseland.

It took me half of the 09 Halloween event to figure out how the banners worked. I didn't get much candy, so I think I got one, maybe two blood pups, and I didn't trade it away despite offers which I am VERY glad of now lol

i think this might have been my very first pet, because i only adopted one and didn't know you could get more. i only figured that out the next rollover when this advent litter was gone, oops lol- but i ended up getting the euc oddly enough anyway!


this is the oldest regular adopt i can find in my collection folders. i didn't end up keeping or getting every single outcome from my first month, but all of december 2021 is pretty nostalgic to me anyway (:

i also adopted at least one butterfly wolf without an account back in around march 2011, so that's floating on the site somewhere but i don't know where it is or what outcome it was

This is Brittle. He's the very first one I adopted on the day I joined. I had no idea what I was doing so I just clicked the adopt button and grabbed one from the butterfly wolf litter. He's my little baby. Obviously I then realized I could get more than one and also adopted the other litters but Brittle is my special lil' guy :3

I think, I still have the majority of them, since I mostly did adopt 1 Pet and I actually did not trade things I had one of

So, don´t ask me about the names. I named them that about 15 to 16 years ago, I don´t know my thinkings back then and I never changed the names, because it´s kind of a funny memory!

I also have my very first December 18th self adopted Pet still.

I also adopted an apple, but I traded that one away. ^^

And I also adopted a lion, because I thought the cub line was very cute! xD


Everything else is from 2010 when I actually really started playing. I did join in 09, but never played and it picked it up again way later. I was really a scatterbrain back then

I found a dog I adopted the day after I joined! I was a bit reluctant back then and pulled in by a friend so I'm not surprised I don't have any adopted on the day of!

Most of my collection is self-adopted, but these two are my earliest adopts from the day I joined and a couple days later.


I also have both pets from my old account which Tess thankfully allowed me to retrieve after I remembered it existed ♡


I still have my very first pound adopt too, also from the day I joined! Can you tell I get sentimental about my older pets lol.

I do! And I'm really glad I kept a good amount of them. These were the pets I adopted the day I joined, I still do have all of my pets from day one!



I guess a few days later I realized I should adopt more lol. I still have some of them but I wish I had kept more! It makes me feel so incredibly old that some of them are rare now </3
