Something's up with the pound

Honestly I really only agree that the pound is open for a short time and is a little annoying, but using bots and timers is just fine tbf. Everyone has different ways of reminding themselves that the pound is about to open. Usually people use these bots/timers so they have a better chance at getting the rares. I'm sure everybody enjoys a good free rare. But if you missed the pound- you missed it, no use in being upset over it. /gen

There are bots? What do they do? Do they automatically adopt pets from the pound? I was wondering if something like that was happening as I'd click a pet within the second the pound opened and it would be gone.

That said I did have my phone set to wake me for the pound but I slept through it anyway.

No on discord there are bots that remind people when the pound opens. Kinda like a timer on your phone.

i don't think the discord bots will ever be bannable, since they're just timers. (and thank god for that, my adhd ass always forgets the pound is opening even if i already knew it was)

the advantage is the same as someone setting a timer on their phone. i've still missed several pound openings even with the bot just because i was busy or asleep.

I appreciate everyones input! I feel like there just needs to be revamping of the pound as a whole at this point. Like the person who discussed not having the countdown or a very short one so you have to be online at that point in order to be able to notice. That would also reduce the intense spikes in people and would make it more fair for those who are actually online.

It takes me seconds to get distracted and miss the opening. I have to stare at the pound page just to remind myself what I'm doing.

I put an alarm clock to chime just 1 minute before the pound opens so many people could do the same.

I have noticed this past week things have been going alot faster in the pound, like, within seconds 500 or so pets get adopted, maybe after the Dec 18 even a ton of players have just returned
