I hope by pointing out pets that turned VR/OMGSR at the same time as these rats did, that people will understand their rarity better and find it easier to trade their squeakers for a fair amount c:

Finally! This makes things so much more clear. I know demand will always be demand but I at least have an idea of what to look for. I'm always skeptical about trading my rats because people always want to offer the lowest they can for them. :\

^ Yeah some people just want to get them for next to free just because they're rats, but looking at how rare some of these pets are, they might have a hard time finding them. It's ok to apply demand to pets, and consider that rats trade for lower than dogs, but I think it's always best to use rarity as a starting point and apply the demand from there rather than just coming up with something arbitrary. I hope this guide helps out!

In terms of rats that may be missing, does anyone have any rarity info about these guys? I'll have to look them up later when I'm a bit less busy:

I actually wasn't, but yes, that is also an issue that I only remembered when you brought it up LOL I wouldn't be surprised if rats are so low on everyone's radar that no one caught when those guys changed rarities back then...

The only thing I saw was the rarity change archive was that it went very rare between November and December 2009.

I'm also happy to see this list. The last "non list" pet (other than a dog I accidentally traded away earlier) was the pink panda rat. The panda rats were pretty hard to find over all which goes to show that just because something is low in demand, doesn't mean it's easy to trade for. You still have to find one to make an offer first.
