Great guide I always have trouble writing trade rules :3 I understand why people have codewords though I don't agree with them but it annoys me when people have about 4. I saw something like you had to use the first letters of the four codewords and arrange them to make a word, what O.O
p.s. Just realised my trade banner is actually the same size as my rules xD well it attracts attention

Maybe you could mention the 'Rarity Charts' problem when people say 2 commons = uncommon and so on as they just don't work :S ??

Thank you SO MUCH for pointing out that codewords are pointless. I can't stand them and these days I generally will not trade if I see someone requires a codeword. Therefore that person might be losing out on a wishlist trade because of it.

Generally, though, the shorter the better. I have no interest in wading through a ton of rules before trading, (that's what the cancel/edit buttons are for, after all) and if I see an entire page of text I will look to trade elsewhere. I wonder how many others do the same?

It also bugs me when people have pointless rules, this alone makes me not want to trade with them. Anyways, I think it's wonderful! I'm going to make some trading rules, this guideline will defently help me. I'm sure it will be used lots very soon!

My Rules for Trading

Simple Rules (For every trade)

•Please, be fair, kind and considerate. Your trade will most likely be canceled if you aren't.
•I probaly value my rarities different then you do, I won't mind if you send a PM asking about this, although I value Dogs, PPS animals and warrior cats above everything else.
•Follow all Tess's rules.
•If you can, please send a message with your trade. It doesn't have to be a long one though! If you just say 'Hi, is this fair? Feel free to edit, thanks!' that would be fine.
