Actually hyenas belong to feloidea, which are feline.
The subgroups of feloidea are felidae (cats), viverridae (viverrids) and hyaenidae (hyenas).

Sorren is right about what she says ^^ Hyenas are actually closer related to felines than canines, and actually they have found out that cheetahs are closer related to canines than felines. It's a crazy world, huh XD?

I did knew about the cheetahs. And that's just completely wierd since the meow like pet cats XD
And it's Bernese mountain dog, not Bernard
