The May chickens are clearly based off of the Zebra Finch. c:

i feel like the april chickens are greyscale chickens... that's what it looks like to me. I've seen the blue-tailed rooster called the blue-tailed rooster before

Well, it's pretty clear that they are. o:
They seem to resemble a few common mutations in the Zebra Finch gene.

Brown looks like a normal Zebra Finch
Both Tans look like a Pale Cheek - - - > link and link
Spotted looks like a Pied - - - > link and link
Black Rooster looks like a Black - - - > link


Also, who was the artiest this time for the chickens? found out already
I'd love to ask them. (use to own a flock of ZFs)

edit/add: Just message SoulWings, and they said that they did base the chickens off of the Zebra Finch. <3

In the April chickens the blue tailed rooster reminds me of fowler the grumpy old rooster in the movie Chicken Run not exactly the same but similar. as for the hens, I'm not shure. (I don't think that dose/would break Copyrights?

I think you are close.... I looked up charts of zebra finches and these were the names I got:
1) normal ZF
2) Whitecheek ZF
3) Pied ZF
4) Blackcheek ZF
5) Pastel ZF (based on silver color with tan cheek patches)
6) (not shown) Fawn ZF
Names do vary in different countries.
(they all seem to be male versions, though they are on both hen and rooster lineart)
