They make EXCELLENT trade fodder if you have extras, lol.

I really don't think that it's so terrible if you miss out on getting an outcome.
I mean, I've been able to trade for any pets I need fairly easy in the swap forum.

I honestly am starting to think this is -not- Tyr's pup. Tyr, by now, has seen that we all think this is her pup. As she hasn't come forward, I'm going to guess this is not hers.

The number one other artist that I know, I'd say this is Sorren's. She created beautiful Spaniel pups, and we all know she's excellent at line art edits, and she's fully capable of making the smoldering eyes as seen here. (Not literally on fire, just that dark, smoldering look to the eye.) It still could be Tyr's...but I think she'd have come forward by now. And, as she's not, I'd swear this is Sorren's.

Just my thoughts.

That's the thing, I don't think it is hers. She has a very fluid, almost liquid, way of drawing and coloring her linearts, edits and creations. Check out her signature on her profile page. Click here It's similiar colors, but the shading designs are so much more flowing that this is.

Again, I could be wrong, but as we don't know which staff members created which, or even what staffs created one period, it makes it truly hard to guess who did what.

Other artists haven't come forward yet either, and some don't visit the discussion threads regularly.

Of course, it could be Sorren, that's a good guess too~

I just dont like missing because when I see them I get excited and when I see I dont have the outcome im like aww but yeah usually easy to trade.

but on another note im not so sure about the artists. they seem to be different from last years so im not sure sure that you can base a pup from an artists simply by the eyes... unless its obvious like the moonflight ears. XD
but take Kaycee's pup for example its very different from last year. they seem to be making it hard for us to figure out on purpose :p

Aww! This is so cute! And I got two of it! This looks a lot like a rat, as well as Kaycee's outcome.

I'm going to still stick to thinking that this is Tyr's.
The shading style is virtually identical. The colours aren't really "blended" so much as they sort of look like they were laid down, almost to create a texture-- it actually reminds me of the texture you sort of get when you sponge up watercolours.
The line edits are also VERY similar. There's a sort of strange consistency to the lines in her previous staff pup edits-- like, the actual lines seem a bit varied in thickness and slightly stiff.

People have also pointed out that the eye is very similar to previous pets that she has created.
