The Grapes, as noted on the front page of the thread, are not being placed yet. It has nothing to do with their value compared to the UR Apple, that is irrelevant. It has to do with the fact that no one is sure what they're worth. Value is a combination of demand AND rarity. Frankly, I don't think a poll will tell us anything other than peoples anonymous opinions with zero explanation. I CAN tell you, with near 100% certainty, that the Grapes are worth more than a Black Advent. The Grapes are OMGsr, and the BA only turned VR a few months ago.

And honestly, no offense, but I'm really not looking for input from people who have only been here for 2 or 3 months. That is far too short an amount of time for you to gain actual valuable insight into pet worths. You only have your first impressions, which are often wrong in the grand scope of things. I would suggest that the newer members hang around, read up on their rarities, and wait before jumping in with their 2 cents.

I think a poll won't give the grapes their true rarity place, although it will give us an idea for now.

I would prefer to have the discussion in this thread as we always have, where people can add their opinions and provide explanations. Having a poll about the UR Grapes vs. Black Advent specifically would just be ridiculous, end of story.

While Tess and Nick indeed won't tell us what pet rarities are, their changing from VR to OMGsr is an excellent insight into their comparative rarity. We now know that the Rat is the same rarity and the Tiger Dog, and the Grapes are the same rarity as the Sunjewel. That's 2 months apart in rarity updates, so not a large gap, but more than we would ever know without the label changes. Peoples opinions have zero insight into pet rarity. That's demand, which like I said, can be discussed and weighed against rarity here in the thread.

I am looking through all the responses re: the UR '11 pets. Demand certainly comes into play here, and from the responses it looks like the Grapes are the most in demand of the 3 we haven't placed. For the sake of rarity, I wouldn't place the Rat too far below. And the Malk I still don't know. I'm still wondering if it will change rarity soon. It sounds like they're all hovering around the Red Tox - Nonballoon level, more or less.

These will be the lowest placed OMGsr's in the history of this list, but given that it looks like we're starting to see some of the rarest Julys turning OMG now too, I guess it's not too much of a problem.

xD From what I have seen, Grapes are the least popular out of the three.
Malk > Rat > Grapes.

I agree with you Deja. But.. Why is it that the banana is up so high on the list? I hardly see people wanting it anymore, it's omg so rare as well. It seems like the banana is less wanted then the newer grapes, Now i'm not.. completely sure, but i think the grapes should at least be around yellow toxic level, maybe even a bit higher, gearback level. Either way, i think the grapes should be higher then the apple..

As for the rat...i think the rat is less sought after then the malk, so i think the malk should be above the rat. I don't really know where, red tox level sounds fine, as long as the malk is above the rat.

Just a couple of notes about the above discussions...
- You cannot consider demand while completely ignoring supply, it doesn't work that way
- BA is a bad pet to choose for comparision (it's supply is restricted by multiple serious hoarders, it's popularity is high and it has been boosted appropriately from the advent list to the septembers)
- Regarding the mention of people wanting BAs: most of them don't matter. People begging for free BAs don't have sufficient trading stock to exchange for the BA, and since they cannot trade for the BA, they do not affect it's demand because they don't participate in any trades involving it.

There is a lot to consider. Hopefully this can give you guys a little insight into what needs to be considered:
- Supply (rarity and rarity change dates)
- Demand (popularity among those that can afford them)
- Circulation (the reason UR Mint auctions aren't working - they don't circulate well)
- Comparison to appropriate pets (avoid comparing to the BA or Joker in particular)
- Hoarders (they affect both supply and demand, but you need enough serious ones)

Please let me know if I have left anything out. Sorry to derail the thread a bit, I just wanted to state what I consider when talking about rare list pets and their placements to make sure that I am considering everything I need to.

I definately think the UR rat should be above the malk, regardless of demand. While the malk may be more popular we already know that the rat is at same worth with the UR tigerdog. Yes, because of demand it will need to go a little lower on the list but I still believe it to be above the malk as really there is not *too* much difference between them in demand. Honestly I would say the grapes are fairly low in demand, along with the rest of the fruit. The grapes as far as I have seen are the most popular of all the fruit but I hear frequently people saying they do not want any fruit at all, especially last year in the December 18th Discussion Thread.

I know my oppinion on rarities can and probably will be wrong, But I personally thing that the UR's should be places around this:

Grapes: Green tox
UR Rat: Red Tox (I've seen it go for sorbets many, many times)
UR Malk: Non-balloon at the highest.
