hi! i was checking the archives to see which feb pets i had and i saw this pet's transition to adulthood...

i thought it was so cool how the clouds spread and take over the design, and i realized i never would've noticed if i didn't check in the archives. a lot of intermediate/juvenile stages go unappreciated because of how temporary they are.
so...
what are your favorite juvenile/intermediate stages you want other people to see? i'm super curious and i want to see!

I really really liked the adult intermediate stages for this horse litter:
archive/2024/April/Horsewhile it's intended to be a representation of natural coat fading as they grow older, I still wish I could have had one stay at their 'prime.' I particularly liked the texture on this one before it finished growing:

i love that they show the aging! but you're right, it's a shame such a beautiful coat is gone

prolly gonna get hate, but: honestly i never saw the point of the multi different stages. IMO kinda just makes it harder for the archivist because after they grow no one even usually remembers the ones with the multi stages. OR we always end up wanting to keep the stages that keep growing. xD
the only one it really makes sense to me is the RBM because each different color could be an outcome or keep growing, so those intermediate colors still all became an outcome.
might could be a cool concept for advent pets to maybe look at those middle designs and maybe make 'em on other lines or just add them as actual outcomes?
Vincent Van Gogh. Everyone said to him, "You can't be a great painter, you only have one ear." And you know what he said? "I can't hear you."
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
