Hello all! Just wanted to come on here to give my side of things! I was This Trade for Daxx's UR Lion!
Now I know that this trade looks insane as it is 600+ pets haha but honestly it was definitely worth it?

I was a little intimidated at first and I definitely will miss some of the pets I traded away but I traded quite a few newer ones away! Which is honestly amazing to me? I find trading to be extremely daunting since I'm still relatively new. Getting higher tier pets has been VERY difficult for me. I honestly really like this method of trading as I can bulk up any new rares to get older pets! It makes the thought of getting my dreamies actually attainable.
So thank you sm Daxx for helping me to complete my Lion collection!

this thread is worded very well and makes a lot of sense!
i've been using the +2 method for years now, without really knowing it had a name or that other people used it LOL
it's what makes the most sense to me and is the easiest way to bridge the gap between years (which can be a REALLY intimidating obstacle at times)
i definitely think this is the best method for trading rares+ between years and is a really good way to make a trade where both parties feel satisfied with what they're getting
it reminds me a lot of CS many years ago and gives nostalgia tbh !

Would people actually trade 26 recent rares for a middling looking 2010 very rare? What would people realistically trade for this dog?


Would I need something better in demand to actually get 26 rares from 2024?

Well, i find personally most people prefer high demand older rares. So malks, nice designs, sought after/harder to find ones, ect. That dog shouldn't have too hard of a time, you'd just need to find someone looking for it. the +2 method is great, but sadly alot of people tend to use things like valuing pets based on their c$ price, which makes it harder to trade pets for pets. I can't say how hard it would be to trade that specific dog as i don't know, but i know it's always a little rough to find people who still use the +2 method. Regardless, i do wish you luck, and hope it is easy for you to find the trade you're looking for!

Thanks, I've just come short of getting recent pets to trade for the next batch of animal eggs due to my Halloween hoarding. I've considered just stepping pets to more recent rarities like taking this 2009 pet to two 2010 pets and work from there. I haven't given it an honest effort yet. so, going to see where that gets me, or just try for malk pets
