I've been seeing an uptick in some very specific, valuable true date trades. While many true date pets have specific values assigned to them according to value threads, there are a lot of higher value true date pets that have an undetermined set value. This can be due to many different factors, but regardless, it'd be nice to have a specific place to discuss them. This thread is dedicated to that exactly; discussion and sharing of a few specific true date pets, along with sharing how people value them differently based on different factors (digits of the pet's id number, a specific id, a specific date, or different pets/outcomes). By sharing and discussing trades like these, there is a space for rare/valuable true date trades that generally aren't talked about or can get lost in the successful trade thread.
Aren't re-releases the same thing as true dates?
Yes and no! While the pet itself is the same, the specific date that the pet has and the id number adds value to some pets. In the case of early 2008 pets, true-date status can adds a surprising amount of worth. Compared to re-release pets, some true-date pets are significantly rarer and, similarly to store pets, are destined to become more scarce and therefore become rarer and rarer.
Why should this thread exist/how is it different from existing threads?
This is meant to be both a trade-sharing and discussion thread for a few specific pets. It'd important to have a space to discuss these and see why/how people value these pets under specific conditions.
For example: not only will people value true dates vs rereleases differently, but people will value the same true date pet differently depending on it's id number. For example- I've seen a true-date 4 id sunback traded for about 10-12n. That same sunback was then traded for a 3 digit id sunback for a 2n+ add. That got me thinking- how do people determine the value difference between these same pets?
So what pets are shared here?

This isn't a place to discuss true date pets that are already listed on horror's list- this is more a place for the pets that don't have much concrete data such as early 08 pets/URs from '08, as well as discussing the difference that 4 or 3 digit id pets have.
