Codex’ pup is awesome!!!



The whole litter has been so wonderful! I love all of the outcomes and can’t wait for the last ones to grow!

I was waiting on bated breath for Valkyrie to grow and WOW do they not disappoint. Codex is 2 for 2 in terms of stunning staff dogs as far as I’m concerned

When the palette was released I thought it'd be easy, just make some sort of fancy nature design- except I didn't want to! Lately I've been drawing quite a fair amount of nature stuff so I was reluctant to draw that for my staff dog. I decided to work on it another day and then I procrastinated.

During that time I was binge watching transformers while my friends were chatting about gundam. When I finally decided to work on designing I thought 'why not something mecha since that's all I've been absorbing lately'.

Then I punted out Valkyrie in a day HAHA

I can't really expand on my answers as I didn't think much about it, the only lore I had was that Valkyrie lived in some sort of solarpunk society fighting off alien monsters trying to invade.

Okay, here's my thoughts on the last 3 pups.


~Trompy
Why?
They said that their pup has too much hair for hot weather. So far, this is the only one who has long hair. Also loves summer, shown by the fireflies.

Why?
On page 10 they said that their pup likes hot weather and a natural diet (like a plant). On page 14 they said that their pup enjoys tending, nurturing, healing, and gardening (plant related). Favorite season, summer when most plants grow. Prefers more nature. Also this fits with the name, Osiris, the Egyptian God of fertility, which can be seen as mythological.

Well, default. I didn't see any clues listed, so it's my only guess.
