Hello Bubbles!

I trolled really hard this year, because I knew he would grow up early. :'D
He's indeed a heavy weight, have you ever looked up how much dolphins or whales weigh? Or bigger fishes? Yeah, you wouldn't wanna throw those around!

Bubbles doesn't have any magical powers, but he is physically quite magical and uh, kinda an animal, being a merdog. Mermaid. Mer-being? I don't know what to call him, really.
He mostly eats fish and other sea food and occasionally some sea weed or algae (the 'salad' I mentioned).

When you live in the ocean, you don't really care about seasons! But he travels through the ocean, it's very big after all and there are so many beautiful fish schools to follow and play with ;>
His unintentional cousin is the one pup with another fishy tail, Codex's! But this one got some tentacles, so my headcanon is that Codex's pup lives more on deep sea / ocean ground level (hi Codex, try to change my mind, you can't) and they don't meet that often. But Koikees pup sometimes nyooms through the night sky and they meet Bubbles.

I have a fun little question for any staff that want to answer.
If your pup was a Pokemon Gym Leader, what type(s) would they use?
You can use specific pokemon if you want.

Water type gym leader, with all of them (except Gyarados) also frequently using Fairy type moves.
The full team would be Primarina, Azumarill, Vaporeon, Milotic, Gyarados and Finizen.
If we're talking Gen9, Primarinas Tera type would obviously be Fairy.

Kudos to skyegawla who figured out which one my pup is, but it was the wrong theme. The guess was that my pup is the ocean, but it isn't! It just lives in the ocean, but he's a mermaid. Merman. Merdog...
There is still a little detail to discover if you look for it...

my sister has very small children who love Paw Patrol.. and Raire's pup reminds me of the dvd we have called "Pups save Puplantis." They are called merpups and now I can't NOT call this pup a merpup as well lmao

I dropped a guess on you but I do have questions

1. Did your pup use all the colors of the palette?
2. Does your pup or adult dog have line edits?
3. Does your pup hang out with any of the other pups?
4. Does your pup prefer the beach, the mountains, the forest, or the desert?

Any other staff a can answer if they want to!

Why? Let's start with the questions you answered:

The first answer is vague, but based on your answer I believe that you did use all the colors in the color palette. I can see all colors on this dog
The second answer, also vague, seems to imply something. Most of the dogs made in the staff litter have some line edits to an extent, and while your dogs have had additional props in the past, not all of them do. Therefore, given your wording, I don't think your dog has line edits. If you consider non-classical mouths to be line edits, then that rules out the flower dog which is also a contender.
The fourth answer is interesting to me because the pattern on the dog's body somewhat resembles waves. If this is your dog then it would make sense that they would like the beach!

Yes, the flower dog could also be yours, but here's why I don't think so:

You've edited the mouths of your dogs before, but I took a look and there's a VERY tiny but major difference between the flower dog and your past dogs: your dogs are all smiling just a tiny bit bigger.


To me, the mouth of the flower dog more closely resembles AquilaFuga's style. You also tend to blend and overlay colors more while Aquila tends to use more sudden transition of color (as seen with the flower dog)

So, there you go! That's my guess 🤭

Reposting since Schuyler denied the right pup here in my post

There are two grown pups that have not been claimed yet - these two cuties



I was thinking they belong to Schuyler (left) and AquilaFuga (Right) and discussing it with fluffystar. I was going back and forth with these two pups and artists, because both create pups that start with smaller details that grow to a more elaborate design. The one on the right started with no details and grew into this design. Fluffystar pointed out that Schuyler uses curly tail pups and AquilaFuga doesn’t. So these are my guesses.

Even if I am wrong, I just want to say both these are so lovely and I look forward to seeing who made them.
