This is referred to as a state of "urgency".

I just realised how similar this in particular is to the "mayday" hint. They mean a very similar thing.

Perhaps the starry bunny is lost at sea or in space somewhere??
Edit: swimming is a "very bad idea" and they smell like "raspberry and rum" (the latter of which reminds me of pirates) so I'm envisioning some kind of space faring pirate.

hmmm....there was an explanation earlier that the milky way apparently smells of 'raspberry and rum', so definitely something to do with space, and the mayday/panpan connection. I'm gonna try google lol

I am HUGE on liking mythology. Someone mentioned that a certain pup looks like it is referring to the chimera of myth. I am thinking it might be yours, but haven't seen any clues that point in its direction. I half expected to see another dragon dog, but one hasn't shown up yet.

I don't feel any smarter than before though. The plushie itself is a crocodile/gator but that doesn't match the "uses camouflage and isn't a big fighter" hint. That's why I thought it might be the platypus puppy but apparently I was wrong.
Maybe this scale-y looking pup could be theirs and is going to turn into some sort of reptile?

The croc plush and the pets under the croc plush dressups are not related or part of my hints. The pet group hint is more widespread than just one or two pets ^^

In the "My favorites" group, every single pet other than the crocs has mushrooms on it. None of the outcomes so far look SUPER mushroomy, though these two could look like toadstools if you're looking for it:

There's an array of staff/GH litter pets and a couple more of the same mushroom rats in their pets without a group, but I would hazard a guess that they're just unsorted hoardies as I can't think of anything connecting them.

If I had to guess, I'd bet that the "My pup went in an unexpected direction this year, its not something I normally do." hint is referring to the fact they they've always done pixel art final outcomes. Even if that's true, though, their second stages aren't normally pixels anyway. They also usually do relatively simple second stages and then very detailed final stages, so perhaps it means that the second stage is more detailed this time.

One other suspicion is this one:

Although they've said that their pet "isn't related to another animal" (and this one looks like a lot like a frog), they've also said that their pup would bring things to do with water to an island, that it can camouflage, and that it would prefer a jungly area.
....Now that I'm thinking about it, I guess perhaps the hint isn't about mushrooms, maybe it's about TOADstools...

The mushrooms in the pet groups are the hint! Got some good direction on some of these, but not completely correct yet. I will say my 'unexpected direction' hint is partially referring to pixel art and my past outcomes, but thats not all of it. It may be more clear once my pup fully grows, though it should help in figuring out which is mine.

Hi hello, I mentioned writing a sleep deprived novel where I was convinced that this pet:

was Celozon's so here it is now that I've slept 10+ hours:

Alright kiddos, I'm starting from the ground up with Celozon since I keep confusing myself looking back at other theories (I have been awake almost 20 hours hahaha).

So, Celozon's recent post said they have hints that haven't been found/figured out yet. So I'm digging through everything I can think of. There is a oekaki post from the other day, but it's basic, discussing their new tablet (which cool beans, drawing tablets are so cool), so likely no hint there (except for floofers doggo which is amazing so fluffer doggo and not curly tailed doggo maybe?)
There have been no recent scene's or dress-ups within the past month.
So, I start digging through their pets, mostly their favorite pets because I have been awake 20 hours and going through every group will probably make me fall asleep (also because they repeated posted not to waste time going through their hoard groups). Their favorites group includes a lot of pets on the first page with a nature theme, more specifically, with fungi (items) on the pet. I'm still getting to learn about staff, so I don't know if Celozon just enjoys fungi aesthetically (which, in all honesty, some fungus can look really cool), but I'm going to take this as a clue, mostly because of this post:

So we've seen the weird "it's me" pup, and it was adopted in February 2018. There are two PPS from the 1st small enough to be the dude under all those items, and I'm leaning towards this little guy: because Cel often likes mushroom/nature stuff. The only other art-style related thing I gathered was that they like fun colors on noses? Yeah, I'm at a loss too. They also mentioned something in their recent activity, and they did post a drawing tonight, but it looks like fairly normal stuff. Any ideas?

Which natural element would your pups most likely belong to??

Definitely earth.

QUESTION FOR STAFF MEMBERS:
There's a piece of yummy food at the end of a tunnel and there are 3 ways to get to it.
1. Would your pup travel through a dense, jungly undergrowth-like tunnel with lots of vines and plants and trees?
2. Would they travel through a barren, icy tundra with cold, refreshing water and a LOT of snow?
3. Would they travel up a jagged, steep mountain? (i mean that could be the easiest option if your pup could, ya know, fly?)

The first one! Very aesthetic.

To me, this indicates that Celozon's pup is nature related.
Next, we have a timeline from Celozon:

Since the first pup has already been claimed by Metallic Dragon, that leaves us with the last 4 pups. Based on the information I have gathered already, I'm already leaning towards the second to last pup. This pup gives off a dark woods vibe with either small plants/leaves/fungi or maybe even small butterflies (not entirely sure on that last one, but possible I guess), and it would be easy to camouflage in the dark magic woods. But let's continue:

I've hidden a couple things related to my pup. Not anything super hard time find so if you are digging around in something 3 years old its def not there. And nothing in my hoard groups so don't torture yourself with those lol.
Aand while you all are searching for those I might be willing to answer a few more questions about my pup...

They are not related to another animal themself, but they do have at least one animal friend.

So Celozon's pup is not based on any other animal.

Not particularly. They prefer to keep things pretty basic.

The eye being a primary color makes things difficult since both blue and yellow are primary colors, but it still makes me consider the third and fourth pups still, since the third pup's eyes are yellow (different from the more common blue from that day), and the fourth pup's eyes are not yet opened.
But basically I'm convinced that this pup was designed by Celozon, and no one except Celozon can convince me otherwise:

So, Raire has mentioned low and high, where low is tied with pan pan, and high with the rovers. Pan Pan is related to mayday, which is something that the rovers on Mars would send to NASA here on Earth if they run into an issue. So..

Low is Earth, and high is Mars

Harpija221 and I were chatting in discord and came up with some random thoughts:

Space is what we need to look at, but mayday is also communication between the rovers on Mars, and Earth. NASA Deep Space Network (DSN) and orbiters using radio frequency X-band. This is just a random thought and probably means nothing but here it is

but antennas look like... bunnies!! (or bunny ears)


So, referring to the “bunny”, and assuming communication is part of the hints (pan pan)

I am thinking maybe the “friend” the rovers have is actually an antenna or the orbiters in space. And since a hint is a bunny friend, an there are bunny antennas, I’m thinking your pup is going to be what harpija221 said - an antenna pup (antenna bunny pup)

So, looking at these pups, they all have hints to wha the final dog will look like, they all have pointed ears and no line edits with the exception of closed eyes on the 2019 pup. And theygave very little away about the final dog outcome.

Looking at the pups that have already grown, assuming Raire’s pup grew already, I think either of these 2 could be his
